 What will the weather be like during our stay?

The weather is always a talking point in Ireland, we are afraid it's the one thing we can't guarantee to be perfect! Our weather is often changeable and you might need your wellies or your suncream in any season - one thing is certain that you'll be in be in awe of the natural landscape. You could even get to see the Northern Lights or some fantastic sunsets.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 4.00pm on the day of your arrival and check out is 10.30am. If you need a late checkout or early check in, please give us advance notice if possible and we will check to see whether we can accommodate your request.

What time does the swimming pool open and can I use it if I'm not a resident?

Our heated indoor pool is open from 8.00am - 8.00pm. The pool is only open to residents of the hotel.

Do you have a salon on site?

We no longer have an on site therapist. We reccomend the Looking Glass Sap Therapy salon which is just a few minutes walk away in the village. You can book directly with Aoife on 074 915 8444

What is there at the hotel for children?

We have a TV room with dvds, games for babies and toddlers and cards, board games and quizzes for older children. There is the heated indoor swimming pool and we also provide tennis rackets and balls, boules or croquet sets to play out in the grounds. The beach is just a few metres walk away and we have spare buckets and spades and fishing nets for your little adventurers!

Can you cater for gluten free, vegan, nut allergies or other specific dietary requirements?

Yes we always have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items on the menus. In addition if you can make us aware of any other information we can be fully prepared so that you can really enjoy your experience at Rathmullan House in either restuarant and throughout the hotel

Do you cater for private parties or large group bookings?

Yes we would be delighted to hear from you if you are looking to book either a corporate event, a special family occasion or a grand gala dinner. Please email marketing@rathmullanhouse.com to give us some details so we can get back to you with tailor-made options.
